Dr Lillian Waterland graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland before gaining experience across both private and public dentistry. Today, she’s proud to provide quality dental care to patients from Toowong, Bardon, Auchenflower, Indooroopilly and surrounding suburbs, taking the time to build lasting relationships based on trust, honesty and genuine care.
An Indooroopilly local, Dr Lillian founded Enamel & Mint alongside her husband, Mike, with a simple vision: to create the kind of independent dental practice they would want to visit themselves. A place where people feel welcome, appointments are never rushed, questions are always encouraged and prevention is at the heart of every decision.
For Dr Lillian, dentistry is about far more than treating teeth. It’s about helping people understand their oral health, building good lifelong habits and creating positive dental experiences that make coming back feel easy. Whether she’s caring for a two-year-old at their very first visit or helping someone restore their smile after years of dental problems, Dr Lillian brings the same calm, caring and thorough approach to every appointment. In her words, “I’d much rather help you avoid a filling than give you one.”
When she’s not at the practice, you’ll usually find Dr Lillian spending time with her family. She loves exploring Brisbane with her husband and children, enjoying good food, gardening, getting outdoors and making the most of weekends.
Family plays a big part in Dr Lillian’s life, and it’s one of the reasons she’s so passionate about creating a practice where patients of every age feel welcome, comfortable and cared for.
